Favourite Boy Band

FAVOURITE BOY BAND | Assalamualaikum, Today I want to tell you about my favourite singers. I think everyone has their favourite singer. But I want to focus more on the boy bands. Nowadays, there are a lot of Korean boy bands. They are getting more popular in this century. However, I preferred the boy bands from the '90s.

I really love to listen to '90s songs especially boy bands back then. The '90s boy bands that I like are Backstreet Boys, Blue, Westlife, N'Sync, Exist, Ukay's, Slam and Spring. Combination of Malay and English boy bands. However, this entry that I write today is about an English boy band. 

I started to listen to these English boy bands because of my older brother. Everything is influenced by him. I get to hold my own handphone when I was 17 years old. Before that years, I heard all these English songs from my brother's walkman and handphone. I listen to all his playlist in his handphone. 

His handphone is left at home because he was studying at boarding school. Handphone is not allowed in any school. It's supposed to be that way. I always took his handphone and earphone secretly to my bedroom. I listen to all the songs and sing it along before going to sleep. Hehehehe. My little hobby. I got in trouble when I made his phone casing crack. Since then, I'm not been allowed to hold his phone again.

I love to listen to Backstreet Boys songs. The first song that I heard from them is I Want It That Way. They are so young in this music video and I love when they pull a high note. Backstreet Boys consists of five members; Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson and the youngest one; Nick Carter. This boy band are formed in 1993 and it also means their group has been formed for 26 years. Same age as mine. I am also born in the year 1993. How coincidence.

Since that, I have been fond of them and their songs. I also have a celebrity crush on Nick Carter. He is still a handsome guy, even though he is a married man. The songs that I started to listen to them are I Want It That Way, The Call, Drowning, Quit Playing Games With My Heart and Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely. After I got my own handphone, I downloaded all songs from Backstreet Boys that I love to listen to. I also searched more of their song according to their album.

I still read their tweet and IG post that came through at my timeline. I also watch their channel on YouTube and their website. I still watching their music video especially when I'm boring. I knew they had a new album released last year. But I still loved the old one. Let's be honest, they are my favourite boy band but I'm not up to date to what they do right now. 

I love them and I love their songs. I love their songs more than other singers. Because they are the first singer that makes me fall in love with boy bands. Even though we are growing older, the memories when we are young will be kept in our hearts forever. Backstreet Boys, you are the one. <3
